Some of you might have noticed the "Friends of Knitcole" section on the right hand side of my blog. This section is there to let you know about a couple of my friends who are amazing people that you should definitely be following. So I figured I would introduce you to all of them one at a time.
So...here...we...gooooooooooo!
First up, the wonderful Kaelah! You can follow Kaelah's blog at www.kaelahbee.com and can follow her on Twitter too, @kaelahbee.
Kaelah is my very own graphic designer! Well that statement may be a teeny bit misleading since she really isn't just MY graphic designer but she did redesign this very site and I really couldn't be any more pleased with the things she did for me.
I first met Kaelah when I saw her sponsor spot on Elsie Flannigan's blog, A Beautiful Mess. I was instantly in love with Kaelah's blog. She is freaking adorable and the cutest sense of style. So when she posted a blog about being available to do web design elements for blogs or etsy shops I emailed her instantly.
Kaelah and I started talking about my business and what I was looking for and our wonderful internet based relationship began! She has been nothing less than a joy to work with and her emails always bring a smile to my face. You can't fake genuine over email and she is just the sweetest Southern belle! (Kaelah hails from Tennessee even though she's currently spending her summer in NYC.)
In addition to being a talented web/graphic designer Kaelah also dabbles in crafting! (A topic very near and dear to my own heart.) She is currently selling some of her awesome barrettes and headbands in her Etsy store Sweet Pea. All of the proceeds from her current shop update are to benefit her sweet dog Georgia's eye surgery. (How could you not fall for that cute little face?!?!)
I just bought mine, an awesome red bandana inspired barrette. I can't wait to get it in the mail!
So in short Kaelah is a sweet Southern belle who is an awesome graphic designer, who also happens to be crafty and lives a cute, simple life with her family who she is nice enough to share with all of us in her own internet wonderland.
It's so strange how you feel like you can know so much about someone without ever having to meet them. My own personal interactions with Kaelah have warmed my heart and for someone who's been through so much lately her spirit just keeps shining on looking for the best in it all. I am happy to call her my friend and I hope you all enjoy and follow her over at her blog. Oh and if you feel compelled to support Georgia's eye surgery head on over to Sweet Pea and buy a sweet barrette or headband!
Until next time!
Nicole
