Mr. Coleman is an avid sports lover. I can honestly say that I have watched more sports this year than any other year of my life.
There were Laker basketball games.
And many baseball games. He doesn't really have a favorite baseball team so we just watched a lot of baseball.
Then of course, his favorite, Football. Trojan football, (we still have to watch even though this season doesn't count.)
And last but definitely not least Steeler football.
As we speak I am sitting here on our couch watching the World Series. Do I like baseball...not really. Sure I love the occasional game at the the stadium, with hot dogs and sunflower seeds but to watch it at home...well, I'm less than enthused.
Where will you find me Sunday? Here at home, watching football...all day long. We watch all of the games. It's been a very strange phenomenon for me. Watching sports. Sure I've learned some, but I've always understood the mechanics of all of the games. I actually don't mind basketball or football but it's on our television a lot.
So, what do I do? I go craft. Usually you can find Mr. Coleman in front of the tv and me in the spare room sewing. Just last Sunday he said to me, "I love that you have things that you love to do and you aren't just stuck here being bored while I watch sports." It's nice to know that he cares enough to notice, although I would watch them with him if he asked, I'm glad that he doesn't care if I'm not so enthralled by the game.
Either way, we did both agree that Toots needs one of these!
Until next time.
